LAS ANIMAS/HUERFANO CO — Trinidad native Steve Fernandez is no newcomer to the plumbing business. A third generation master plumber, Steve is carrying on a tradition that began with his grandfather, Alex Fernandez, and continued by his father, John Fernandez. Just out of high school, he plumbed the Tequilas Restaurant in Trinidad.
After 20 years in the plumbing business and 3½ years as a master plumber, Steve has opened Twin Peaks Plumbing and Hydronics, and is ready to take on your biggest plumbing jobs. Fernandez is a boiler technician with experience in radiant (in floor) heat, tankless on demand water heaters, and gas line installation, as well as regular water heaters, drain cleaning, and general plumbing, in both residential and commercial settings. His latest job was plumbing the new bathrooms at the Huerfano County courthouse.
Fernandez’s special expertise is in hydronics that is, hot water heating. He can service or install all types of boilers, whether in a new home or as a retrofit. He says, “You name it, we can do it.”
Fernandez prides himself on being a perfectionist when it comes to serving his customers. He offers top quality, affordable, guaranteed work, and leaves your home or business clean and you satisfied, and estimates are free.
Because of his top-notch work, Fernandez was featured in the June 2017 issue of the US Boiler Report, published by the US Boiler Company.
