TRINIDAD — The Corazon Gallery held its grand re-opening, after extensive remodeling, on February 2 and 3, with a ribbon cutting provided by the Trinidad & Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce.  The art gallery has been in its current location, 149 East Main Street, in Trinidad, since 1994.  They currently have 12 members in their co-op and are accepting new members.
A prime spot in the gallery is reserved for guest artists to display their work for one month, at a fee of $150 and a 40% commission.  This month’s guest artist is internationally known artist, Carole Bourdo.  They also carry an impressive line of unique jewelry and clothing, as well as pottery and sculptures from various artists.  Art classes by local artists are available.  They are open Monday through Saturday, 10 – 5 and 11 – 5 on Sunday.  For more information call 719-846-0207.
