by EEMullens

HUERFANO — A tour bus rolled over on I-26 shortly before 6 am Thanksgiving morning injuring dozens of people who have been transported to medical facilities in Walsenburg and Pueblo. The community center in Walsenburg is being used as a triage site and the Red Cross and ambulance crews from across Huerfano and Las Animas Counties are currently evaluating victims of the crash. There are no known fatalities and the accident happened on the icy interstate at mile marker 45 just before sunrise Thursday. With translators on site it appears the majority of those traveling on the bus speak only or mostly the Spanish language.
