TRINIDAD — A stabbing last Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 at Cimino Park around 1 pm is still under investigation by Trinidad Police, according to the DA’s office, and no one is under arrest.
Officers were dispatched to Cimino Park in response to a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they came in contact with a male party who had been stabbed. He was taken to Mt. San Rafael Hospital by ambulance and was later flown out on Flight for Life to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, where he remains in the hospital in serious condition according to a statement released by the police.
Another male party who was involved in the incident was contacted by police and was taken to the police department for an interview, but was later released, the statement said.
Multiple witnesses were interviewed by officers on scene.
Due to the ongoing investigation, the identities of the parties involved are being withheld at this time.
