Rye deaths update

RYE, CO (11/27/2013) –Firefighters and law enforcement personnel remain at the scene of a deadly housefire today in the 8200 block of Highway 165 in Rye, Colorado.  Reports indicate three bodies were found dead inside of the home but it is not known if they were killed by the fire, or by other means,  Three children who were listed as unaccounted for have been located and are safe.
    The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statewide alert for a person of interest, describing him as a white male in his late 50s or early 60s, 6-feet tall, weighing 135-150 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. The individual may be driving a blue colored Chrysler Town and Country mini-van, which he may have been living out of.  Colorado Bureau of Investigation agents have been summoned to the scene to assist in the investigation.
    Authorities are actively seeking the man for questioning and reports to law enforcement agencies advise officers to approach the invidual with caution, as he may be armed and dangerous.  The individual’s direction of travel is not known.
    If you see anyone matching this description, DO NOT APPROACH-CONTACT YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IMMEDIATELY.
