Obituary Sharon Sager

Sharon Sager 3-10-1947 ~ 7-6-2015 Sharon Sager, 68, passed away on July 6, 2015, at Kenton Manor in Greeley, CO. Born March 10, 1947 to Maurice and Betty Ann Sager, Sharon grew up in La Veta, graduating from La Veta High School in 1965 and, following a brief career as a dental hygienist, married Howard Rheuff. They had two children, Ginger and Bruce, and lived in Pueblo. Sharon returned to La Veta to raise her children and worked for several years at Charlie’s Cash and Carry, the Covered Wagon, and the La Veta Sports Pub. Her favorite job came in the years she managed the Sundown Saloon. She met many great people and had many fun stories to share about her years there Most recently, Sharon worked at First American Title/Stewart Title as the receptionist. In 2012, she moved to Eaton, CO to be closer to her kids and grand kids. Sharon was preceded in death by her

parents and her brother, Leo Sager. She is survived by her children, Ginger (Chappy) Adkins of Kersey, CO and Bruce (Brenda ) Rheuff of Eaton, CO; by grand kids Kenny and Jillian Adkins of Kersey; Haley (Shane) Curtis of Evans, CO; Braden Larrew of Lander, WY; and her great-grandson, Wade Curtis of Evans, CO. She is also survived by her longtime friend, Kriss (Earl) Prado of Pueblo. Graveside service will be at 11 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the La Veta Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name can be made to the La Veta QRT.
