Obituary Jose Roger Bobian

Jose Roger Bobian 2-24-1945 ~ 3-17-2014 Jose Roger Bobian, 69, of Walsenburg, died Monday, March 17, 2014. He was born in Greeley on February 24, 1945 to the late Joe M. and Dorothy Bobian. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where, in his youth, he was an altar server. After 28 years of service, he retired from the Denver Public Schools and moved back to Walsenburg. He loved fishing, playing pool, dancing, blues music, and playing guitar, but his greatest love was for his two sons, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and numerous friends. He is survived by his son, Jake Bobian; ex-wife Phyllis Talmich; brothers and sisters, Louise Trujillo, Fred (Lucy) Bobian, Maryann (Gino) Trujillo, Rita Casias (Tony Cordova), Helen (Quino) Montez, Steve (Gina) Bobian, Michael (Cindy) Bobian, and Bernard Bobian; James King; four grandsons, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a

son, Ricky Bobian; and sister, Patricia Martinez. Services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014; Rosary will be at 10:30 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30, both at St. Mary Catholic Church in Walsenburg. Burial will be at South St. Mary Cemetery, Walsenburg. Services have been entrusted to the Boies-Ortega Funeral Home.
