Obituary Isaiah Santino Tafoya

Isaiah began his journey to be with Creator August 30, 2015 at the age of 18. Isaiah attended schools in Walsenburg, CO and graduated high school in Pueblo, CO, December 17, 2014. Isaiah was a Cedar boy for the Sundancers at Iglesia de Atzlan, Gardner, CO for eight years. Isaiah was planning on becoming a Sundancer in 2016. Isaiah had a passion for music and sang profoundly; he wanted to pursue his education in music. Isaiah will always be a whisper away, a song sung quietly with gentleness, a teardrop falling as we smile, remembering the days of yesterday we spent with him. We love you, Isaiah; in time each of us will be with you; hold your hand out to greet us. Isaiah leaves behind his beloved family, mother, Linda Wilkins; mother, Michelle Tafoya; father, Anthony Luna; great-grandparents, Ross and Patricia Fernandez; grandfather, David Tafoya, Sr.; grandparents, James and Debbie Atencio; grandmother, Darlene; aunt and godmother,

Brandi Atencio; uncle, James Atencio; brothers, (and godfather) David L. Tafoya, Jr., Gavino Raines, Orion Vigil, and Emrey Vigil; numeroud aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Memorial Mass will be held at 1 pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 121 E. 7th St. Walsenburg. Native American Ceremony will be held at 12 noon, September 12, 2015, beginning at Piñon Park, Piñon and Hendren (200 block), in Walsenburg.
