Obituary Cecil E. Caldwell

Cecil E. Caldwell 4-26-1925 ~ 12-4-2014 In loving memory of our father God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put His arms around him and whispered, come with me. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay. A gentle heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that He only takes the best. Cecil Caldwell was born in Pueblo, lived in Walsenburg, graduated from Huerfano County High School in 1942, and was a decorated WWII veteran. He spent many years in general aviation as a flight instructor and charter pilot, then in later years covering the western U.S. selling and installing fibre optic equipment, retiring in 1995. He is survived by his twin daughters, Toni and Nicole, and their mother, Thelma Caldwell. He is also survived by his second family, stepson David Bell and stepdaughter Debbie Bell; and grandchildren David Bell, Jr. and Cathy Bell.
