Michael G. Lenzini

Michael George Lenzini Jr., 69, made his transition seven weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer & pneumonia. He will be greeted in death by his parents (Marie & Mike Sr.). Michael was a deeply spiritual man who valued his family and friends above all else. He was a superb husband and father who will be sorely missed by his beloved wife, Cathy; children, Dino (Monica) and Cassandra (Josh); brother, Nick (Jeannie), and sister, Marci (Tim) Bachicha; and scores of nieces and nephews. He loved books, learning, fly fishing, collecting pens and cooking— Stew & Polenta, Chicken Cacciatore and a good steak— to name a few. Great at telling jokes, he enjoyed embellishing them with a variety of accents. He taught as an Adjunct Professor at three universities. He travelled worldwide as a successful entrepreneur utilizing his Master’s degree in Business Management. Michael was a respected leader that included serving on his church Board of Trustees. His Celebration of Life is Thurs., April 28, 10 a.m. at Mile Hi Church, 9077 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood, CO 80226. In Michael’s memory, his family asks that donations be sent to: Mile Hi Church, Jackie Harris, 9077 W. Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226, (303) 237-8851, or to: High Plains Drifters (his fishing club), Tim Herget, Treasurer HPD, 20984 E.
