Group’s St. Patrick’s Day Bingo event a smashing success

LA VETA — La Veta Trails wishes to express its deepest appreciation to the community for coming out to support community trails. The Second Annual La Veta Trails St. Patrick’s Day Bingo event was a screaming success! Many thanks to Shawna and the staff of Sid’s High Country Barbeque and Grill who did a fantastic job hosting the event and serving the green-clad masses. Many thanks to the Celtic Orphans – Malea Schmidt, Barbara Kowalik, Sam and Diane Sortore, Jack Yule, and Jonathan James – for their musical talents bringing a smile to our hearts and compelling our bodies to dance. We thank the famous Bruce Johnson, Bingo Caller and comedian, for directing the night’s fun.
Thank you to all of you who danced, played, and gave with such generosity to raise funds for trails. La Veta Trails will continue to ride this great wave of energy provided by the great people of this community.
