Louise Krpan 1-14-1920 ~ 11-11-2013 Long-time Walsenburg resident, Louise Krpan, passed 
away on November 11, 2013 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born January 14, 1920 in Pictou, Colorado. Louise was the youngest and last surviving member of her family. Her sisters and brother were: Helen Krpan; Mildred (Frank) Sanich (Joseph) Sudar; Mary (Jack) Fink; Dorothy (Chet) Zurek and Nick Krpan. Louise graduated from Huerfano County High School in 1939 and worked at the Central Bar and Cafe before being employed at Huerfano County Department of Social Services from which she retired. She was a past-president and active and devoted member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by two nephews and two nieces: Charles Ray (Carolyn) Sanich, Dallas, TX; Robert Joseph (Geraldine Tressel) Sudar, Richardson, TX; Janet (Fink) Long, Littleton, CO and Carol Jean (Lester) Welborn, Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by great- and great, great-nieces and nephews. Holy Rosary and Funeral Mass were Monday, November 18th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Walsenburg with interment at North St. Mary Cemetery.
