HUERFANO — As a director of the Huerfano County Hospital District of Huerfano County, I would work hard to protect our hospital and jobs;
I will support our veterans living center; and I will promote excellent medical services. I am committed to working for the people of Huerfano County and protecting the services we now enjoy while exploring avenues to improve and expand healthcare services for all of us.
To those who do not know me, please allow me to introduce myself. I was born and was raised in Huerfano County. My family was honored last year by the State of Colorado as a centennial ranch.
I am a proud mother and soon to be mother-in-law; a former board member and board vice-president of Huerfano School District RE-1, former 4-H leader; and former Sunday school teacher, church treasurer and board member; a current member and officer of P. E. O. Chapter BZ; and a legal technician with the Huerfano County Department of Human Services Child Support Services Unit.
Access to health care and medical education is essential to residences of any community. Huerfano County is no exception. We have a wonderful facility in the Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center and Veterans Community Living Center. The continuance of the services these facilities provide is critical to the health and wellbeing of the residences of and visitors to Huerfano County.
I ask for your vote in the election of directors for the Huerfano County Hospital District. Ballots for the May 5, 2020 election will be mailed the end of April, 2020.
