Gary Yanos Cordova 7-23-1952 ~ 11-7-2013
A life long resident of Walsenburg, Gary “Yanos” Cordova graduated from Walsenburg High School in 1970. As owner of Twin Peaks Construction, he was a licensed and bonded contractor builder. Gary’s legacy can be seen throughout the southern Colorado area in the numerous homes and buildings which he built as a skilled craftsman. His last employment was with Huerfano School District Re-1 as a bus driver in Gardner. He will affectionately be remembered by the children and staff as “Captain Kirk.” Burial was at the North Veta Cemetery.
