GARDNER — In spite of a last minute snow storm, the Gardner School students pulled off yet another successful Christmas show last Thursday.
As is the tradition, the entire school participated in the program. Pre-K through eighth grade students performed a wonderful version of “The Nutcracker.” The weather didn’t keep too many people away as the house was packed. There were even some guests that stayed to enjoy holiday treats after the show.
Gardner School had a wonderful week leading up to Thursday night’s performance. They would like to thank all who helped make the week a great experience for the kids. Special thanks to Toys for Tots who donated toys for all the students, PetSmart who donated stuffed animals, Western Gas Station who donated fidget spinners, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church members who provided Safeway cards to some families. Our generous community helped to show the students what the holiday spirit is all about. Classrooms at the school also collected non-perishable food items to donate to families-in-need. It was a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.
