GARDNER — Gardner School’s 5th and 6th graders went to the Denver Museum, Casa Bonita, and Wendy’s recently. We were all very excited to go, and sad to leave. The first thing we did was go to eat at Casa Bonita. The food there was Mexican and it was delicious. While you eat, you can watch a play. A man jumps off a rock and into a pool. Once we were done eating, we went to the arcade. After Casa Bonita, we headed to the Denver Museum. After putting our bags away in the exhibit room we were going to sleep in, we started the activities. Here are two of the favorite activities, the planetarium, and a 3D Imax movie. Apparently, we had to leave on Saturday. We stopped at Wendy’s on the way back. This trip was so interesting, fun, and educational.

GARDNER — Gardner School’s Destination Imagination teams traveled to Pueblo Community College to take part in the South Regional competition. Their hard work and dedication paid off, with two middle level first place awards. The students will now be going to Denver to compete at the state competition. We wish them the best of luck!
