GARDNER — The 43rd annual Gardner School carnival was a big success. Last Friday, people from all around Huerfano County came to support the school’s largest fundraiser of the year. Participants enjoyed games, a silent auction, white elephant booth, bingo and a delicious burrito dinner. Much thanks to the sponsors who contributed prizes that ranged from haircuts to oil changes. Businesses that contributed included: George’s, Rambler 66, J.M. Tire, T.C.’s Diner, Sporleder Feeds, Tina’s, Bear Spot, Walsenburg Lumber, Ol’ Reliable, Chapita’s, Maria’s Salon and City Auto. Gardner School would like to thank everyone who contributed to the carnival’s success.
