Local authors’ book signing and sale at Carnegie Library

November 18, 2017 @ 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

TRINIDAD — Local authors’ book sale and signing in time for Holiday shopping! That special someone needs a unique gift. For your loved one, how about a new book, signed by the author? The Carnegie Public Library, 202 North Animas Street, is partnering with their writing group to bring eight local authors together on Saturday afternoon, November 18, 1 to 3 pm. The writers, all from Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico, will be presenting a book sale and signing event in the library’s Community Room.

The authors, and their featured works, include: Susan Adair Harris, The Woman Who Saw Souls, Kate Kingston, History of Grey, Sharon Reinan, Crackpots, Steve Anderson, Rapid Transit, Sandra Bolton, A Cipher In the Sand, Paul Hill, Lanes End, Patricia Walsh, A Prairie Mourning, and Robb Heckel, Beneath It All. The writers will also bring copies of their other works, and we expect that they will price most of the books well below retail. If you own one of their books already, bring it along for the author to sign. The authors will appreciate cash sales, and all proceeds go to the writers.

It’s holiday shopping at its best! This is your chance to support our local authors, and you’ll be getting wonderful gifts at bargain prices. Enjoy some light refreshments while you discuss the books with the writers. Listen to them read aloud from their works. You mustn’t pass up this very special opportunity. If you have any questions, please contact Tom Potter at the library, 719-846-6841.
