Coordinating and reporting mapping data to the County Road and Bridge Director, Phil Dorenkamp 2. Implementing SPPRCD noxious weed landowner programs, to include: i. Landowner site visits ii. Identifying noxious weeds and mapping noxious weeds using Android-based mapping apps or GPS units iii. Marking project boundaries. iv. Plan development. v. Creating electronic project maps utilizing ArcMap vi. Compiling plans and maps for review by the SPPRCD Board of Directors. 3. Assisting the PWWMC Coordinator and/or SPPRCD District Technician with special projects associated with noxious weeds or land restoration 4. Coordinating with and reporting noxious weed mapping data to Las Animas County and the State of Colorado’s EDDMapsWest database. 5. Assist the PWWMC Coordinator with other duties as they arise Basic Position Requirements: 1. Must hold a valid Colorado Driver’s license. 2. Must be 18 years old at the time of application submission 3. Must be able to use a personal vehicle to some extent for work duties (all attempts will be made to provide a vehicle, but the use of a POV must be an option): a. Will be reimbursed $0.54/mile when using POV b. Must hold current full coverage or liability personal vehicle insurance 4. May be subject to a background check as part of the hiring process. 5.
