Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance of complex building systems or a related field desired. Previous managerial experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of engineering design, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to track and report on staff activity. Experience in planning maintenance operations. Proficiency with computers, particularly email and typical office software. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members. Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making. Some college related classes highly desired. HVAC certification, certified journeyman electrician, and/or previous contracting experience highly preferred. Previous managerial experience is a bonus. A pre-employment drug test with a negative result and background check will be required. Must possess an unrestricted valid Colorado Driver’s License.
