Norm Wolak stopped by the World Journal to clarify a couple of things after the Huerfano County Commissioners declared March 13 Norm Wolak Day. He did not receive a Silver Star, but a Silver Cluster. He says he doesn’t want to take away from those who truly received the honor. In Norm’s words, “I was just 18 years old, young, dumb, and broke.
